Principal's Message

It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome you to Beaver Local Elementary School. I hope you will see that Beaver Local Elementary is the optimal place for all children to learn and grow.
Beaver Local is blessed with phenomenal staff, wonderful families, and terrific kids. Our students spend each day in an environment that is safe, filled with high expectations for learning, and know that they are cared about. Our facility is state of the art. Our learning environment is designed to meet all students’ needs through open work spaces, flexible seating, and wireless connectivity. Every space in our building is a learning space. We encourage collaborative teaching as well as cooperation and team building for students. Our school curriculum targets the needs of every child through differentiated instruction and technology integration. Teachers make conscious efforts to allow for creativity, real-life application, and problem solving. We place great emphasis on literacy and developing a love for reading. Reading provides a growth of knowledge, a pleasurable hobby to escape from our busy lives, and the development of critical thinking. Our philosophy is to prepare the whole child to be a positive, contributing member of the ever-changing world we live in today.
I would encourage you to become actively involved in our school and to acquaint yourself with the faculty and staff of Beaver Local Elementary. Our PTO meets monthly and always accepts new applications for volunteers. Each of our volunteers is approved by the Board of Education. As a PTO volunteer, there are many opportunities for involvement. We hope that you will join us in our effort to provide a variety of fun, learning opportunities for our students.
